Meet us at USCAP 2023 in New Orleans

We are thrilled to announce that we will be attending the upcoming USCAP annual conference taking place in New Orleans from March 11-16. Our team is excited to meet you and share all the exciting updates we have in store for you. Read on for more information about our activities at the conference.

Looking to overcome the IT and installation challenges of implementing a digital pathology workflow?

You're invited to try out and get a sneak peak of Oncotopix Cloud, a new AI-powered solution that enables easy accessibility to automated image analysis for pathology labs that do not have a full digital workflow and infrastructure. The cloud-based platform eliminates the need for software installation and allows easy analysis of images. It offers a graphical user interface accessible via the web, allowing users to upload images for analysis by pre-existing, fully automated, APPs in the cloud. The current menu includes PD-L1 and Ki-67, with plans to expand to other existing APPs like ER/PR/HER2 and more.

Simply bring your anonymized Ki67 or PD-L1 images to our booth, and we will upload them together to the platform. It will automatically analyze the slides and send you an email report with results. If you don't have slides available, we have test slides for you to use.

Discover our IVDR-cleared and fully automated next-generation Ki67 algorithm for IHC biomarker analysis

Visit our booth to learn about our new next-generation Ki67 algorithm that provides diagnostic decision support for pathologists. The algorithm has been cleared under the European In-Vitro Diagnostic Regulations (IVDR) and is designed to be fully automated, enabling pathologists to become more productive without manual steps.

Paul van Diest, Head of Pathology at UMC Utrecht,
had this to say about it:

"The Visiopharm algorithm is helping us achieve standardization in the scoring of Ki67 for breast cancer patients. We look forward to having the algorithm fully automated and integrated into our workflow, saving us time and effort while also improving the accuracy and consistency of our results."

If you cannot wait until USCAP starts or you are not attending, you can read about it here.

Presentations

Monday, March 13 – Einstein, Tolkien, and AI: An explorer's quest to push the limits of digital pathology

5:30pm–7pm

Free drinks and finger food for all attendees.

Our guest speaker, Dr John Groth, will present, Einstein, Tolkien, and AI: An explorer's quest to push the limits of digital pathology.

This talk promises to be an unforgettable experience that will provide attendees with a unique perspective on the future of digital pathology and the impact of AI on healthcare.

About John Groth

John Groth, M.D., is a pathologist and anatomic pathology informatics director at NorthShore University HealthSystem leading the transition to a digital workflow with AI incorporation for primary anatomic pathology clinical work. He has completed studies and fellowships in general surgical pathology, cytopathology, and clinical informatics. Dr Groth is also a member of several medical societies and has been recognized for his academic, educational, and scholarly efforts.

Wednesday, March 15 (event hosted by our partner, Agilent)

12–1pm – How an open, scalable digital pathology solution can improve diagnostic quality and efficiency in pathology practice

Lunch will be served during the seminar.

Head to Exhibitor Seminar Room #3 for Agilent's seminar on, How an open, scalable digital pathology solution can improve diagnostic quality and efficiency in pathology practice. Join their speakers, including our Senior Vice President in Global Clinical Sales, Martin Kristensson, and discover how digital pathology can help streamline laboratory processes and enhance patient outcomes. This seminar will showcase real-world examples of new agnostic tools used in pathology labs to improve diagnostic quality and efficiency.

Speakers: Giovanni Lujan (Associate Professor of Pathology and Director of Digital and Computational Pathology at Ohio State University), Martin Kristensson (Senior Vice President, Global Clinical Sales, Visiopharm), and Alan Byrne (Agilent Technologies Inc Principal Global Product Manager, Digital Pathology) will moderate.
